Today I added “Twidgets” to the sidebar of my blog. It adds a sidebar widget to display your Twitter Friends Timeline using Twitter’s flash scripts. If you look at my blog toward the bottom of the sidebar you will see pictures of the Twits that I am following. You can click on their picture to be taken to their twitter pages.
I like this “Twidget”. It allows me to quickly pick a Twitter Friend and view their updates right from the blog page.

Twhirl is a desktop client for twitter, based on the Adobe AIR platform.
Twhirl is a nice little application that sits in your tray and alerts you when the fellow twits that you are following update their status.
Installation was straight forward and it seems useful and unobtrusive. So far, so good. I would definitely recommend this application based upon what I have experienced so far. Check them out at Http://twhirl.org

What to say….What to say?
Well, I guess I’ll start with Hello, and thanks for visiting my blog “Twitter Tips”. I am a Twitter Newbie…or maybe it’s NewTwit. I’m not sure on the terminology. I will be gathering TwitterTerms and posting them on here as I learn them. That way you and I both will have a localized source.
I have created this blog to have a place to save the things I learn about Twitter and how to make twitting or tweeting or whatever the heck it’s called easier to do and manage.
If you happen to find your way here, and have a useful tip or trick that you are aware of to help others with their twittering, then by all means leave me a comment or a tweet and let the community know about them.
